Full Mouth Reconstruction
What Is Full Mouth Reconstruction?
A full mouth reconstruction is a custom-designed treatment plan that combines several restorative procedures in order to address multiple dental concerns as quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly as possible. Issues like gum disease, damaged teeth, and jaw problems are all connected, and it is best to treat them with one restorative regimen designed by our specialty-trained dentists.
After our dentists address the significant health concerns in your mouth, a full mouth reconstruction can also incorporate some cosmetic dentistry treatments to give you straighter teeth and a bright, attractive smile. Ultimately, investing in a full mouth reconstruction could radically improve your quality of life.

"Dr. Han Has Been a Godsend" Advanced Dentistry Can Change Your Life
"I’ve had many dental problems the past 2 years with old crowns/teeth breaking off at the gum line and Dr Han has been a godsend. He’s done multiple extractions, implants, a sinus lift, and implant crowns and he’s the best periodontist I’ve ever had. His staff is awesome too for everything from cleaning and fillings to Kim’s office management. You can’t find a better or more caring dentist and staff..." Planning Your Treatment What to Expect at Your Consultation
Your initial diagnostic visit is very important for planning the rest of your treatment. In addition to gathering your medical and dental history, our team will begin by discussing your concerns and goals.
In order to provide accurate diagnoses and address the needs of your unique smile, we will acquire:
- Updated X-Rays: Radiographs allow us to assess your bite alignment and other features of your smile.
- A 3-D Computed Tomography Scan: Using our 3-D cone beam scanner, we can view the supporting oral structures and determine the best placement for dental implants if you have missing teeth.
Your consultation will also help us determine which procedures you are healthy enough to undergo. If you are receiving dental implants, we can use a cone beam scan to evaluate your bone quality and determine whether you need preliminary treatment such as bone grafting.
Our team will closely involve you in the decision-making process when designing your custom-made plan. We have several treatment choices available and can discuss the benefits of each in detail.

Real 5-Star Reviews from Satisfied Patients
Looking for a dentist in Leesburg? Look no further! My wife and I found them walking around first Friday. The folks are more efficient than any dentist office I've been too in the past and I've been to quite a few. Friendly, helpful, and honest. Exactly what my wife and I were looking for!
Always have good care. Staff are all so friendly and they take the time to get to know people personally. So nice to walk in for a cleaning and have them remember our conversation from 6 months prior.
How Long Does a Full Mouth Reconstruction Take?
Because this is a uniquely designed treatment plan, each patient's timeline will vary. The minimum treatment timeline for a full mouth reconstruction is approximately six months and includes:
- Extractions
- Implant placement
- Healing time
- Receiving your final restorations
For patients who require more complex surgical procedures or increased healing times, reconstruction can take up to 12 months. Although this is a serious time commitment for many patients, the treatment offers unparalleled personalized attention and long-lasting functional and aesthetic benefits.
